The Tana Vessel
Share
Handmade by Indonesian artisans, the Tanah Vessel is named for Tanah Lot, the sea temple on Bali's coast. Its shell white glaze and rounded, hut like silhouette carry that coastal feeling into the room. The matte cream finish is heavily textured, so the surface reads as raw clay rather than polished ceramic.
At 11 inches, it sits comfortably on a shelf, counter, desk, or mantel. Leave it bare as a small sculpture, or fill it with dried stems and grasses.
Made by hand using techniques passed down through generations, so slight variations in tone and texture are part of the piece. No two are identical.
Materials: Terracotta clay, cream underglaze, textured matte cream glaze
Dimensions: 10"L x 7.8"W x 11"H
